Biography:Joel Brooks is a Film student who Graduated from Lee University. Primarily known for his works in student films and directing though he has yet to release his debut film. Born in 2002 Joel was born to a mixed race and highly religious family with a German father and a Puerto Rican mother. Joel was amongst 5 children in the Brooks household. His love for film started at a Young age as his parents never let their children watch modern secular films. So Joel gravitated to what he was allowed to watch such as the Twilight zone, the Alfred Hitchcock hour, North by Northwest and other classics in the black and white genre. After getting his associates in engineering at Virginia peninsula community college he set his sights on film moving to Tennessee where he attended Lee University (same as his parents) to follow his passion in film.
